Experience
Bimo Prasetio has high competence in handling various commercial dispute cases, i.e., Islamic Economic (waqf, sukuk, etc), Bus Transport Procurement, Antitrust and Anti-Monopoly, Telecommunication, Intellectual Property Rights, Bankruptcy, etc.
In 2007, he handled a big and important case, the closing of Temasek cross-holdings involving two major Indonesia’s mobile network operators (Telkomsel and Indosat). Bimo sharpened his skills as a commercial litigation Lawyer in one of the leading litigation law firms in Indonesia, Adnan Buyung Nasution & Partner. He also enhanced his expertise in General Corporate Matters during his time in Makarim & Taira S, and Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners [Dentons HPRP] where he was entrusted to assist various joint venture projects and general corporate matters.
Bimo then established BP Lawyers Counselors at Law [BPL] in 2010. His comprehensive understanding upon general corporate matters and dispute resolutions made him appointed by the Indonesian waqf Board [BWI] to provide advice of waqf Management, Compliance and Dispute Management for BWI. Since 2015 to date, Bimo has been continuously assisting private companies and foundations such as PT Provera Indonesia, Global Waqf Corpora and Pilar Corporation to implement productive waqf in Indonesia such as land waqf management, stock waqf, and money waqf.
Bimo has over 20 years of experience as a legal consultant and is currently also active as a lecturer at Prasetiya Mulya University. He continues to speak at legal seminars and consistently innovates with Smart Legal Network and BP Lawyers.
